Scania range starting points

P and G Series

P Series is a distribution and urban starting point; G Series extends into broader regional and vocational work.

R and S Series

R and S cabs address long-haul, higher-output and driver-accommodation priorities, subject to the selected driveline and axle layout.

Series names group many wheelbases, axle layouts, engines, transmissions and cab configurations. Compare the exact Australian variant and completed vehicle.

What to check before requesting a quote

Fit the operating job

Configure cab, engine output, gearbox, axle arrangement, retarder, safety systems and service contract around route, load and utilisation.

Price the finished truck

Compare equivalent bodies, accessories, registration class, payload, warranty, service plan and delivery timing—not incomplete cab-chassis prices.

Map support and downtime

Confirm which branch can perform warranty work, workshop hours, mobile support, parts lead times and the contingency after a breakdown.
