Australian heavy-truck guide

SITRAK trucks Australia: G5S, G7S and C9H explained

SITRAK's Australian range is centred on heavy cargo, tipper, mixer and prime-mover applications. G5S covers rigid cargo and vocational configurations, G7S moves into 540hp prime-mover and tipper work, and C9H is the 660hp, 90-tonne-GCM long-haul flagship. The exact axle layout and Australian specification matter more than the series name alone.

Rigid and vocational range

SITRAK G5S: cargo, tipper and mixer trucks

G5S is the broadest rigid and vocational series in the Australian range. The current published configurations include 4x2, 6x4 and 8x4 cargo trucks, 6x4 and 8x4 tippers, and an 8x4 mixer cab/chassis.

Prime mover and heavy tipper

SITRAK G7S: 540hp prime mover and tipper range

G7S moves into heavy prime-mover and tipper applications. The Australian-listed 6x4 prime mover publishes a 90,000kg GCM, while the 6x4 and 8x4 tipper configurations publish a 75,000kg GCM.

The Australian-listed C9H is a 6x4 prime mover publishing 660hp, 3200Nm and a 90,000kg GCM. It sits above the 540hp G7S as SITRAK's high-output option for demanding combination and long-haul applications.

Market context

What else should a SITRAK buyer compare?

SITRAK should be compared with trucks built for the same completed job—not with an entire brand or a different weight class. The following ranges are useful research starting points before requesting equivalent written quotes.

Positioning

What is SITRAK?

Heavy commercial focus

SITRAK is a SINOTRUK brand. In Australia, the published range is focused on rigid cargo trucks, tippers, mixers and prime movers rather than light trucks or ute-sized commercial vehicles.

Configuration-led buying

A G5S 4x2 cargo truck and a G5S 8x4 mixer share a series name but do different work. Compare axle layout, body, tare estimate, GVM, GCM, engine output, transmission and route before comparing price.

Australian support

SITRAK Australia publishes national dealer and customer-support pathways. For Sydney and NSW, RUMBLE Auto in Arndell Park publicly identifies as an authorised SITRAK NSW dealer supporting sales, servicing, parts and fleet enquiries.

Evidence still developing

Specifications and warranty can be checked now; long-term Australian whole-of-life cost, resale and downtime evidence will develop as the local fleet grows. Buyers should request written support and parts arrangements.

Warranty and support

Published Australian warranty starting point

SITRAK Australia currently publishes a cab-and-chassis warranty of three years or 600,000km for prime movers and rigid trucks, with a driveline warranty of three years or 1,000,000km, whichever occurs first. Construction and off-road vehicles are listed with three years or 600,000km for both cab/chassis and driveline.

Warranty eligibility, exclusions, consumables, servicing requirements and the classification of a completed vehicle must be confirmed against the current policy and purchase contract.
