A lightweight changelog for major structural, data and content updates. It helps readers understand which parts of the site are newly added or recently reorganised.
Added a guide to Australia's updated 2026 fuel and energy consumption labels, including WLTP and PHEV comparison cautions. Added an interactive ute payload and towing calculator covering GVM, GCM, towball download and remaining payload. Promoted both through the homepage and topic hubs, improved the calculator's mobile layout and added consistent social-sharing metadata across the public site.
Added five new buyer-intent pages: Ford Ranger trims explained, Toyota HiLux 2026 price and specs, JAC T9 owner concerns, BYD Shark 6 real-world fuel use and GWM Cannon Alpha PHEV payload explained. Added brand, comparison, hub and sitemap links for the new pages.
Updated structural navigation coverage, added the noindex AI visibility monitoring page to the human sitemap and Data section, tightened shared focus/mobile styling and corrected local ownership-cost preset metadata without changing external snapshot datasets.
Released ownership-cost model v1.4 with grade-level presets, dynamic methodology, confidence records, uncertainty ranges, sensitivity analysis and downloadable inputs. Standardised the primary navigation across all pages, added structured data to the main hubs, applied noindex to internal/non-content pages, clarified the personally funded project wording and introduced a shared rounded-corner design system.
Added PHEV support guides for charging, reading PHEV ute specifications and running-cost logic. Updated glossary and buyer-guide links so readers can move from model comparisons into practical charging, range, fuel and ownership questions, with Chery KP31 used as a concept-stage diesel PHEV watchlist example. Expanded Chinese ute search coverage for best Chinese ute in Australia, JAC Hunter PHEV and Chery KP-31 wording.
Updated site-wide 2026 wording on the homepage, ute calculator, core ute review labels, PHEV comparison timestamp and buyer guide update badges. Recall pages now label the loaded CSV as a Jan 2026 snapshot with a planned late-2026 refresh, then a six-month update rhythm. Historical 2025 ANCAP dataset labels remain unchanged where they describe rating-year data.
Added structural entry pages for brands, topic hubs, comparisons, PHEV status, data sources, updates and the ute glossary. Homepage now links to these hubs more visibly.
Updated homepage counters and converted the old forum wording into live buyer guide language.
